MECHANICAL & ELECTRICAL
MACE have been active in projects involving the provision, operation and maintenance of a wide variety of Mechanical Process plants, in particular extensive pumping and pipework systems, both fixed and temporary, supplemented by all necessary electrical and control equipment. In place there is a strong Engineering team, led by Chartered Engineers with extensive Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation experience. The area of expertise includes:
- Seweage treatment plant and operation and maintenance
- Water Supply networks operation and maintenance
- Pumps Stations and Power Plants
- Oil Refinery and gas liqification plants turn around
MACE has all the requisite capabiltites to design and construct most kinds of industrial plant, from original design concept, through to various stages of instrumentation, mechanical and electrical instalation, to completion and start up.
The O&M MECIA team have been directly reliably delivering technical support services alongside the O&M team on projects involving the operation and maintenace of a wide variety of mechanical process plants, including a range of Sewerage Treatment facilities and Raw Sewage & Treated Effluent Pumping Stations. In addition to this we are also responsible for a number of extensive pumping and pipework systems, and all attendant electrical and control equipment.
In addition to our skills and experience in this field, we also manage an extensive fleet of heavy plant and machinery, including heavy loaders, cranes and portable pumping solutions available 24 hours a day, seven days a week operating in Abu Dhabi Emirate and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
Flow Control & Over Pumping
MACE runs and operates a large fleet of pumps. MACE has invested in the necessary equipment to deal with emergencies to infrastructure works. MACE’s team of qualified divers work through sewage trunk liners placing inflatable stoppers, diverting flows and effecting repair for which MACE has become unique leaders in the O&M contracts. The Company has in excess of 600 pumps (between 3” to 13” including diesel pumps, and electrical submersibles), inflatable stoppers (some of the larggest in the region) and temporary discharge steel pipes capable of handling flows of up to 4,000 litres /second.
At certain times during the course of major sewage over-pumping works that were undertaken to rehabilitate the trunk sewers in Abu Dhabi under contracts C190/4, C1l90/5, C190/8 and Cl90/7, we were handling over 60% of the entire sewage of the City of Abu Dhabi.
